Oxbridge and Russell Group University Tours

One of our ways to raise the young adults’ aspirations is by organising educational trips to various universities such as Oxford, Cambridge and University College London, Imperial College, the London School of Economics and Kings College twice in a year. Not only are their aspirations raised, but they are inspired by black Oxbridge undergraduates from council estates, single parents home and comprehensive schools who normally share their journies with us.

The following activities do take place during the trip:
▶ Talk on admissions process which includes personal statement and interviews
▶ Subject master: This knowing what subject to study in Sixth form to enhance your place for interview or conditional offer in Oxbridge and Russell Group universities.
▶The opportunity to discuss and ask questions on admission process
▶The opportunity to hear about life as a Cambridge student from current ethnic minority undergraduates
▶ Masterclasses are subject specific events that offer students a flavour of undergraduate study and an introduction to the University of Cambridge. This is only for students in year 12.
▶ University Tour and Interaction with BME students etc.
